Many people can’t seem to understand that – or at least they misinterpret – the idea of “fairness.” “Fair” doesn’t mean that EVERYONE makes the team or that everyone is good at one certain thing. “Fair” only means that everyone is given a chance – NOT that they will succeed. Fair implies that, while you will not beat someone at one particular thing, you probably will be better than the other person at something altogether different. Fairness does NOT mean that everyone is equal – Fairness just means that there is an opportunity.

Action speaks louder than words. Simply put, if you say you believe in something and you do something different, your actions reveal the truth. If you say you are sorry, but keeping doing what you were doing, you are not really sorry. If you say you want to change a bad habit, but you don’t. People make a lot of excuses in life. We all do. We say we want to change something in our lives, but we don’t do what it takes to make the change. In other words, we say we want to make a change, but we don’t really want to make the change, at least not as much as we want things to stay the same.

Yesus memencet bel berkali2…
“Assalamu alaykum….Assalamualaykum…..”
Yesus celingak celinguk di depan rumah Muhammad, kemana nih Muhammad pikirnya. Dipencetnya lagi bel berkali2, tiba2 terdengar suara dari dalam.
“Wa’alaykum salaaammm..”
Pintu terbuka, Muhammad mengucek2 mata, rupanya dia tadi tidur. Maklum panas2 begini memang enaknya tidur siang.
“ Oh Mas Yesus, monggo monggo silahkan masuk. Shalom…”
“Shalom. Dik Muhammad, aku gak punya waktu banyak, sebentar lagi aku ada presentasi bisnis. Tapi aku ingin menyampaikan sesuatu yang amat penting, Dik Muhammad sudah tahu belum, ini ada gambar karikaturmu di koran, wah ini namanya tindakan subversif. Pencemaran nama baik, insult, benar2 tidak bisa diterima…”
“Wah Mas Yesus, terima kasih sudah repot2 mengabari saya, tapi saya sudah tahu sejak lama. Wong sebelum diterbitkan, mereka minta ijin saya untuk menerbitkannya. Saya sih meluluskan saja permintaan mereka, saya menamakannya malah “Lukisan Cinta”, ini namanya demokrasi yang sehat, saling mengkritik dan dibumbui dengan sarkasme, demi adu wacana menambah kedewasaan berpikir dan bertindak, bukankah itu indah Mas Yesus”
“Dik Muhammad ini gimana, koq malah nyantai2 saja, lha itu diluar sana umatmu pada protes besar2an sampai bakar2 bendera segala, siap bunuh2an malah. Dan lagian kan sudah ada di aturan Islam tidak boleh membuat gambarmu.”
“Dulu memang peraturannya begitu, tidak boleh ada gambarku supaya tidak ada kultus individu, supaya tidak mengulangi kejadian pengkultusan Mas Yesus dan Mbah Sidharta. Tetapi sekarang sudah bebas koq, aku rasa manusia jaman sekarang seharusnya sudah pinter tidak menyembah simbol. Eh sebentar ya Mas”
Muhammad beranjak sebentar ke belakang, tak lama kemudian datang lagi membawa nampan berisi kue dan dua gelas kopi Tugu Luwak kesukaan Yesus.
“Monggo disambi Mas Yesus, ini kue buatan istri saya Aisyah. Enak lho, dijamin deh. “
Yesus naik turun jakunnya membaui kopi kesukaannya membentang di hadapan mata. Tanpa ba bi bu, segera disruputnya kopi itu.
“Mmhhhh, puji Tuhan. Enak tenan Dik Muhammad, pinter sampeyan milih istri memang.”
Muka Muhammad memerah dipuji oleh Yesus.
“ Hehehe, ini yang bikin kopi saya sendiri koq Mas. Kuenya dibuat istri saya”
“Kembali ke tadi Dik Muhammad, jadi kamu tidak marah atau menuntut mereka meminta maaf nih…?”
“ Tentu saja tidak Mas Yesus, saya sudah sering mengalami yang lebih parah dari ini, dilempari kotoran onta, masjid di depan rumah saya dikencingi orang Badui, menghadapi orang seperti ini harus sabar, bikin karikatur itu masih beradab menurut saya. Toh kalau mau jujur, banyak juga umat saya yang bikin karikatur tokoh2 agama lain, dan buktinya umat agama lain tidak protes. Jadi dalam hal ini saya jujur saja, umat saya memang kurang dewasa.”
“MMhhhh, betul juga ya . Tahu nggak Dik Muhammad, di Belanda baru saja terbit sebuah buku yang isinya menceritakan bahwa aku ini seorang homoseksual, berkali2 main esek2 di taman Getsemani dengan murid2ku termasuk Yudas. Dan tadi malam aku lihat di National Geographic, di situ dibilang aku menikah dengan Maria Magdalena dan mempunyai anak satu. Waduh, memang kelihatannya keterlaluan sih. Tapi kayaknya memang lebih baik bersabar menghadapi hal2 seperti ini. “
“ Nah kan, umat Mas Yesus aja gak ribut2 tentang itu, padahal kalau dipikir lebih parah daripada karikaturku. Menghadapi seseorang yang belum mengerti itu harus pakai strategi, dengan kepala dingin, tunjukkan cinta kita yang tulus, suatu saat mereka akan mengerti esensi ajaran2 yang kita bawa.”
“ Jujur Dik Muhammad, yang masih jadi pikiranku sekarang ini adalah statusku sebagai tuhan dalam trinitas, ini sepertinya yang umatku belum dewasa dalam mengartikannya. Padahal di Injil, sudah kubilang 82 kali bahwa aku ini anak manusia, sepertimu juga Dik Muhammad. Aku sedang mikir2 untuk menuntut Paulus, Konstantin II, dan ibunya Konstantin II, Helena yang aku pikir menjadi cikal bakal disalah arahkannya ajaranku.”
“Begini Mas Yesus, walaupun mereka percaya Trinitas, asal mereka mengamalkan ajaran cinta kasihmu, kalau menurut saya, menurut saya lho ya, dibiarkan saja. Toh paham ketuhanan itu kan sifatnya pribadi, apalagi sudah ada keputusan Konsili Vatikan II yang menurutku sudah inklusif dan toleran, ada keselamatan di luar gereja. Ini bisa dibilang “great leap forward”.”
“ Yo wis lah, sementara aku tidak akan mengungkit2nya, tapi suatu saat pasti akan kutuntut. Trus gimana Dik Muhammad, bagaimana strategi untuk memajukan umat ini menurutmu?”.
“Ada 3 pilar utama yang harus dibangun dalam civil society , yang pertama dan yang terpenting adalah pilar iptek (ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi), kemudian pilar kesejahteraan, dan yang ketiga pilar keamanan. Perang dengan alasan apapun adalah haram saat ini. Pertarungan dunia bukan antara Barat dan Timur, atau Utara dan Selatan, ataupun Kristen dan Islam. Tetapi adalah pertarungan antara yang lambat dan yang cepat, siapapun yang lebih cepat menguasai tiga pilar itu, dialah yang lebih banyak mengukir sejarah.”
“Berarti musuh kita siapa dong Dik Muhammad..?”.
“Musuh kita adalah kebodohan dan kemiskinan, yang berderivasi kepada siklus kekerasan. “
“Jadi umat apapun baik yang beragama atau tidak, harus dibangun supaya pintar, sejahtera, dan cinta damai. Bukan begitu..?
“Tepat sekali Mas Yesus, relevansi ajaranmu tentang kasih menemukan legitimasinya dalam konstelasi politik yang carut marut saat ini.”
“Eh tapi ngomong2, saya pamitan dulu ya Dik Muhammad, ada presentasi sebentar lagi.”
Tiba2 dari belakang datang Aisyah, membawa nampan lagi berisi kue.
“Lho Mas Yesus, koq buru2, ini baru diminta mau nyobain kue yang baru saya buat.”
“Maaf Dik Aisyah, ada keperluan nih, lain kali deh pasti saya habisin kuenya.”
“Oh silahkan kalau begitu, semoga sukses dengan presentasinya”
Aisyah tersenyum, senyum yang manis sekali, gak salah kalau Muhammad memanggilnya “Humaira” yang artinya kemerah2an. Pipinya memang kemerah2an begitu tanpa digincu.
Yesus segera menenteng tas berisi laptop yang dia bawa, sesampai di luar, Yesus kaget bukan alang kepalang, sepeda motornya raib. Lihat kanan kiri tidak ada juga, akhirnya sadar kalau sepeda motor itu dicuri orang.
“Puji Tuhan, semoga sepeda motor itu lebih berguna buat pencuri itu daripada jadi milikku”
“Mas Yesus, mau dianterin pake sepeda onthel saya…?
Muhammad dengan perasaan bersalah mencoba menawarkan sedikit bantuan.
“Tidak usah Dik Muhammad, saya naik angkot saja, terima kasih ya..Shalom.”
“Shalom..”
Muhammad dan Aisyah saling memandang, ada perasaan kasihan di hati masing2 terhadap kejadian yang menimpa Yesus. Sejenak kemudian, Muhammad mencium kening Aisyah.
“Mas Yesus adalah manusia berjiwa besar Humaira, kau sudah dengar sendiri kan apa yang dia bilang ketika dirundung kesusahan.”
“ Ya suamiku, semoga bumi semakin dipenuhi manusia2 berhati lapang dan jernih sepertinya.”
